Produces a main head which, once cut, is followed by tasty side shoots. It is resistant to Club Root and mildew, which is a real plus as both diseases are becoming harder to eradicate as chemical controls have come off the market.
Growing Information
Sow thinly direct into a finely raked, warm, moist seedbed at a depth of 1.3cm (½"). Transplant subsequent plants with a trowel or dibber when large enough to handle, allowing 30cm (12") between plants. Water well during spells of dry weather. Alternatively sow under cover in trays or cell packs and either grow in large pots or grow bags or plant outdoors. To retain maximum vitamin content, cook by steaming. Sowing - Cropping: 16-18 weeks.
